John Slais
Chief Financial Officer, Financial and Operations Principal
John is a former certified public accountant with more than 25 years experience
in the financial industry, over 20 years experience in the securities
industry and has served as a NASD arbitrator.
He started his career in 1979 as a certified public accountant for Ernst
& Young in Little Rock, Arkansas, served as chief financial officer
of Capitol Securities Group from 1986 until 1994, chief financial officer
of Tejas Securities Group and Barton Creek Ltd. In addition, he has been
director and treasurer on boards of seven financial service organizations,
director and treasurer for Travis County Municipal Utility District No.
5 and serves on several civic boards.
John graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, with a bachelor
of science degree in business administration/accounting.
